5 Reasons to Love Mondays

Monday; who here loves starting another week? Or I guess the question here is, who likes Mondays? If you only can have a Saturday for the rest of the week, you would. YouGov conducted a poll asking 4,000 US Adults what their favorite day of the week is and the worst day of the week according to Guinness World Records; and yes, you guessed it Saturday came in first as the most favorite and that leaves Monday being the least favorite day of the week. So let me be one of the few people to give you reasons to love Mondays.
Starting Fresh
Did you end your week with some bad news? That's okay, everything will pass. Research shows that it only takes 3 days for the news to actually sink in and 75% of the bad news is told by the end of the week in the hopes that they would have the weekend to think about it. Making Monday the best day to start a new productive week, may it be looking for a new job, making new experiences, or simply exploring new opportunities.
It's the most productive day of the week.
According to a study by Accountemps, Monday is the most productive day of the week. The mentality of people that the weekend is over and it's back to reality makes people catch up on some backlogs and start planning the week ahead. Most career-driven people actually look forward to the start of every week for this reason alone.
It's just another day of the week
Yes, it sounds cliché, but the truth is society makes a huge deal out of Monday being the day everybody dreads seeing. Some people may be anxious to receive an update about their promotion, perhaps the results of an exam, or maybe you're waiting to cash in a check, for whatever reason it is. Monday is not always a bad day to look forward to.
Another day to be grateful for
For our fellow humans who are fighting silent battles in their lives, getting to see the next Monday is already something to be thankful for. There's a lot going on around us. Be grateful and thank the big guy up there, or the universe for witnessing another sun shine through your window.

You've all heard this, "Do what you love and you'll never work another day in your life". Yes, this motivation has been around for ages and we still tell this to our younger generation in the hopes that this will help them move on from every weekend and look forward to a Monday.
